Für die neuen Intel® Xeon® 6 CPUs sind zwei verschiedene Plattformen verfügbar.
Bei Birch Stream SP, im Sockel 4710, sind 88 PCIe Lanes, acht Speicherkanäle DDR5-6400 und bis zu 144 native Kerne oder 3,2GHz möglich.
Bei Birch Stream AP, im Sockel 7529, sind 96 PCIe Lanes, zwölf Speicherkanäle DDR5-6400 und bis zu 128 native Kerne oder 3,9GHz möglich.
Weiterhin werden die CPUs in zwei Familien unterschieden: Sierra Forest umfasst dabei die "E" Core Modelle und Granite Rapids die "P" Core Modelle.
